The IATA Dangerous Goods

The 51st edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
incorporates all amendments made by the Dangerous Goods Board and
includes upcoming changes, as they are known, to the 2011-2012
edition of the ICAO Technical Instructions.
What's new in the 51st edition?
• The 51st edition incorporates all changes made by the IATA
Dangerous Goods Board and changes issued by ICAO through addenda to
the 2009-2010 ICAO Technical Instructions;
• Clarification on existing special provisions
• New and revised packing instructions
• An appendix that sets out the impending changes to the regulations
that will take effect from 1 January 2011. The appendix details the
regulatory changes known at this time and is provided to assist
shippers, trainers and other users of the DGR to prepare for these
changes.
• eDGR available on CD-ROM and USB stick, with advanced searching,
sorting and reporting functions
The 51st edition will be available for shipment in October 2009.
